Card declined? Use a gun instead

I almost snorted into my coffee this morning after reading about a chap trying to buy an XBox in Richland Township in Pennsylvania, in the US, with his Visa debit card, only for the transaction to be declined.

After getting more than a little upset with store staff at Gamestop, Corrie Killough lifted his shirt to reveal a gun, and demanded that staff give him the games console.

Which, as you might imagine they did. And then they contacted the local police, who ran a check on the debit card which - amazingly enough - hadn't been stolen, and they were able to arrest the miscreant within a few hours.

Well, at least he had a few hours playing with his new XBox before being chucked in the local chokey.

Possibly a candidate for America's Dumbest Criminals TV show?...
